Metajna, Island of Pag, Croatia

In the central part of the Island of Pag, in a sheltered bay of Pag gulf, there is a small tourist village - Metajna (Italian meta - center, center - geographic map.). He is best known for its sandy beaches and coves and crystal clear waters.

On the northwest side Metajna is connected by road with other places called Barbati - Zubovići and Kustići - and with Novalja (12 km), the center of the northern part of the island. The nearby city of Novalja offers our guests the possibility of a dynamic nightlife with many discos (famous Zrce beach), bars, restaurants and shops.

Metajna is located directly by the sea and the surrounding hills, and to the south lies the green valley with low Mediterranean vegetation.

It is also the region of the wine-growing with many small vineyards.

During hot summer months continuous flow of air that circulates between the hills and the sea, brings freshness and allows residents and tourists a more enjoyable stay.
